Edward Holland

Originating from Leicester, Edward Holland moved to London to study at Middlesex University where he graduated with a BA honours in Sonic Arts.
With a diverse backlog of sound art projects, Edward has Explored themes of colour sound, synaesthesia, internal body sound and is now focusing on the role of commercialisation and salesmanship within the art world, his work humorously addressing issues of control and manipulation on our stimulus addicted culture.

Under his musical guise The Stylus Scribbler, Edward utilises a character that can manipulate sound through the act of scribbling. Playing with genre clichés his music is a patchwork of digital fragments and concrete scraps, a pastiche of contemporary urban and dance music thrown together in a hodgepodge of musical styles and references.
